Co-founded by Firehouse 12's founder and chief engineer Nick Lloyd and acclaimed cornetist/composer Taylor Ho Bynum, Firehouse 12 Records was created to "present creative music in its native environment."

2009 has already been a busy year at Firehouse 12 Records. On June 16th, we will release both Sided Silver Solid, featuring Carl Maguire's Floriculture ensemble and Byzantine Monkey, by John Hébert.

Forthcoming in Fall 2009 are new releases from Myra Melford and Taylor Ho Bynum, as well as a deluxe package featuring new music by Bill Dixon and a documentary DVD of the session led by Dixon here at Firehouse 12.
